Middle School and High School students in low-income communities face greater risks to drop out of school early, have unplanned pregnancies, join gangs, become incarcerated, and/or lack of job skill training. These are real challenges our youth face, and it is critical we surround them with mentors and opportunities to succeed. Mission: Possible! Austin has been serving Central East Austin for more than 25 years. We have the blessing to see generational transformation in front of our eyes. Because we offer a variety of children programs, our youth are able to have a solid relationship and opportunities to move from survival to success. We now see youth volunteering in other programs, going off to college, and some started careers! We focus on moving youth from survival to success to break the cycle of poverty one life at a time.
Listed Below are Current Youth Programs
Purpose: Disciple and develop youth for generational transformation.
Every summer we take a select group of our youth to H-E-B Camp near Leaky, Texas for discipleship and leadership development. In the fall, we take a select group of youth to the beach in Galveston, Texas for a leadership retreat hosted by Seaside Church.
All of the youth attending these trips currently serve, attend, or grew up in a Mission Possible Program. Our goal is to disciple and develop our youth to move them from survival to success. Kids who once attended Camp Nikos are now volunteering at Camp Nikos or serving their community!

“I like FUZE because it has good food, teaches me more about God, and gives me community.”
David attends our weekly FUZE program, attends our leadership retreat, and volunteers with Camp Nikos. David is currently 14 and has been attending FUZE the past 3 years. FUZE is a youth program meeting Sunday nights discipling and developing youth for generational transformation. David is one of several youth we have seen grow spiritually and as a leader.

“I like hanging with Justin because he cares about me, takes me fishing, and helps me get through stuff.”
Mark (pictured left) is one of our FUZE kids, and is currently being mentored by Justin. Mark attends our weekly FUZE program, attends our leadership retreat, and has volunteered at several Mission Possible events. Purpose: Fostering relationships between teachable children and Christ-honoring adults in order to reach the next generation (and the next generation’s families) with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
In many of our low-income communities we see children who come from single parent homes, and many of them do not have a Godly role model. Mentoring children is a practical way to evangelize and disciple children in Christ-centered relationships. Jesus spent his time on earth teaching, healing, and investing into the lives of others. Help make our mission possible by investing in the lives of children in East Austin.
