Volunteers to run Big Fish Club at an apartment community in the 78702 area. Meets every Thursday, 6pm-8 p.m. Email jessica@mpaustin.org for more information.

Volunteer to provide dinner at Big Fish Club for 25-35 people. Dinner is needed every Thursday for 5 area apartment communities (200 people total), either prepared in the Community Center kitchen or dropped off (1190 Chicon St). Volunteer is expected to provide all paper goods and utensils necessary for serving and eating. This position can be a once a month commitment (i.e., the 3rd Thursday of every month), or filled on a weekly basis. Email jessica@mpaustin.org for more details.

Volunteers needed to help tutor and mentor elementary-age  children at 1190 Chicon St. Monday-Wednesday from 3pm-5pm. Volunteers are needed each day, and we plan around AISD schedule. For more information email jessica@mpaustin.org.

A FUZE leader oversees leading, teaching, and connecting with kids from 6th to 12th grades. We are asking for a weekly commitment for 2 semesters. Preferable age range 20’s and up. Contact Jon Rector at Jon@mpaustin.org for more information.

Camp Nikos Support Staff
As support staff you will be supporting the staff. When you see that a counselor is struggling and running on empty, you will be there to encourage them and keep them going. You will be the first person that a counselor turns to when he/she needs help with a camper, and will step in if gospel-centered discipline is needed. 

Camp Nikos Kitchen Staff
Kitchen staff will be in charge of cooking and preparing meals for all of the volunteers, staff, and kids.  Along with cleaning and maintaining the dining area. 

Camp Nikos Counselors
You will be paired one-on-one with a camper throughout the week of camp. As a counselor, you will do activities including swimming, fishing, ropes course, arts and crafts, and games with your camper. You will also enjoy getting to know your camper’s heart as you pour into his or her life and live out the gospel. 

Camp Nikos Certified Lifeguards
Looking for Certified lifeguards that are willing to volunteer 2-4 hours a day at Camp Nikos. 

Bus Drivers
We are looking for licensed bus drivers to transport kids to and from camp.  Volunteer responsibilities is transporting children safely, follow vehicle protocol, and takes about a few hours for 2 days of volunteer work. 

FUZE/ H-E-B Camp Counselor
6th-12th grade summer camp in mid-July where we spend time investing in our middle and high school kids. We ask for mature believers (especially men) to attend this camp to help counselor and invest in these young lives.

RAC Conversational English Tutor
Volunteers to teach English as a second language every Monday from 9 a.m.-noon. Volunteers can teach at different levels, including basic phonics, sentence structure, grammar, and phonic sounds. Bilingual Bible lessons are taught as well as sewing skills or art. Volunteers must complete an application, background check, and training.

RAC Childcare Volunteer
Volunteer needed for taking care of approximately 4 toddlers while their Moms are studying English. Mondays 9 a.m.-noon.

RAC Bible Club Volunteer
Volunteer will help lead Bible club every Wednesday from 4-5 p.m., where kids ages 3-13 hear Bible stories, learn verses, and sing songs.

RAC Art Club Volunteer
Friday’s 4-5:30 p.m. No art experience necessary. Volunteers assist the children to enjoy art projects while learning how much God loves them through positive relationships and fresh perspectives learned by studying God’s word.

RAC Building Project Volunteer
Help design and coordinate building a new art facility that is ergonomic and beautiful (including a sewing area, art area, office area, outside area).

RAC Fundraising Volunteer
Volunteer to help fundraise for Restoration Art Center needs.

RAC Immigration Assistance Volunteer
Members of our Restoration Art Center community urgently need help walking through the process of Immigration and gaining US Citizenship.

Volunteers needed to help deliver groceries to families starting at 10 a.m. on the 3rd and 4th Thursdays of each month. These groceries are purchased by Mission: Possible! Austin from the Capital Area Food Bank. We encourage volunteers to “adopt-a-family.” This is where the volunteer purchases groceries suited to the recipient’s nutritional needs and individual tastes and delivers once a month at a time that is agreeable to both the volunteer and the recipient. This will greatly enhance the relational ministry and free up the volunteer to serve on whatever day or time fits his/her schedule. Email mike@mpaustin.org for more information.

Volunteers needed to set up & tear down equipment at Church Under the Bridge (CUB). These volunteers are also needed to build relationships with those present. CUB meets every Sunday morning from 10 a.m.-noon, under IH-35 between 7th & 8th streets. Volunteers are especially needed 2nd & 3rd Sundays of every month. Street Pastors aims to partner with local churches, neighborhood associations, and law enforcement. These partnerships will offer a greater pool of resources, training and volunteer base to enhance the care and well-being of the community. Every Wednesday from 11 am- 12 pm we meet at 1818 East 12th street at the “Pastor’s Corner” for a community Bible study. Our community Bible study provides a warm and central location to hear God’s Word, read Scripture, and give input. These Bible studies are led by Mission: Possible! Austin staff, but welcomes community participation.

Volunteers are welcome to come, participate, and build relationships with someone from the community.
