Middle School + High School Ministries
Sundays from 6:00pm-8:00pm
FUZE is a program developed and to reach mentor middle school and high school students. The cycles of poverty have left youth in our community at-risk and under-served. Mentors meet each week to develop relationships, mentor young men and women, and find ways to equip and empower youth through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Leaders are asked to model a lifestyle committed to Christ and engage with their students in a life on life relationship. Together, we believe we can break the cycle of poverty one life at a time.
A Night at Fuze
Fuze meets Sunday nights from 6:00pm-8:00pm. We eat dinner, play games, and read the Bible. We break up into small groups where the leaders facilitate discussion based on the message.
- Fuze Mentor: Fuze mentors are paired up with a Fuze Student for 2 years. We ask each mentor spend 1 hour a week minimum with their student, take them to church, and interact with their family. Mentorship is a great way to model the Gospel of Jesus Christ through action. To be a Fuze mentor please complete the Volunteer application below or email Jon@mpaustin.org.
- Fuze Leader: Fuze Leaders are similiar to mentors, but their focus is more on the Wednesday night program. We ask the leaders attend the Wednesday night program, lead and/or facilitate discussion, and help serve the meals. This is a 1 year commitment.
