A Letter From the Executive Director
Rejoice with us as we close out our summer ministries. Mission Possible has served more than four hundred children this year! We taught from God’s Word, specifically on the armor of God. Our Camp theme, “Facing Giants” dealt with giants we face in our lives such as anxiety, fear, anger and darkness. Through your partnership, we were able to bring the hope of Jesus Christ to hundreds of hurting children.
We believe one of the ways we can push back this darkness is through investing in the lives of children in our community. The child gives us a unique open door into the family unit itself. Fatherlessness has left its ugly mark through broken homes, cycles of poverty and hopelessness in our inner-city communities. Through programs like Nikos, we are able to build Christ-centered relationships and walk alongside these children to help break the cycles of darkness. Our prayer is to see this transforming work of Christ at work in their families well!
We are praising God for providing $84,000 of the $103,000 needed for our five camps. Our work isn’t finished as we are still short around $18,000. We believe God will provide, and I am asking you personally to prayerfully to consider giving to meet this need. Camp Nikos is in its twenty-fourth year of doing camps for inner-city children and we are witnessing changes in the next generation because of our consistency. We truly believe our camps are unique in that they create a positive environment for Christ to be shared through personal life on life relationships. Please help us continue this amazing work by helping us end this year fully funded. You can literally help make our Mission Possible!
In His service-with You,
Tim Pinson Sr.
