Time Commitment: 4 hours

B.A.G.S. (Bringing Assistance through Grace & Service) is a grocery delivery ministry for elderly, homebound, and fixed income folks in the community around Mission Possible.  We need folks who will help deliver groceries to families on the 3rd and 4th Thursdays of each month.  These groceries are purchased by Mission Possible from the Capital Area Food Bank.  We encourage folks to “adopt-a-family”. This is where the volunteer purchases groceries suited to the recipient’s nutritional needs and individual tastes and delivers once a month at a time that is agreeable to both the volunteer and the recipient.  This will greatly enhance the relational model of doing ministry and free up the volunteer to serve on whatever day or time fits their schedule.
