Preservation Fund
The “Preservation Fund” will help to stabilize homes when financing from other sources is not available. Participants who borrow from the the “Preservation Fund” will be required to pay the first 20% of actual cost, thus borrowing a maximum of 80% (maximum $3,000.00) from the program. Repayment of the loan shall accrue no interest and be under a binding contract. Promissory note and payment schedules will be negotiated according to participants qualifications and ability to repay. All repayment of funds will be put back in the “Preservation Fund” escrow for future loans.
The goal is to have at least $20,000.00 available for “micro loans” through the “Preservation Fund” program. All C.P.A. work team participants will be subject to a “fee for service” charge. These funds will be used to purchase materials for their particular work project with residual dollars added to the “Preservation Fund” escrow.
Mission Possible is offering matching funds for all gifts up to $2,500.00. We are asking regular and new donors to contribute to the “Preservation Fund” above your regular contributions. 100% of all donations will be used in the “micro loan” program for home improvements for the elderly folks in our Central East communities. Make checks to Mission Possible with “Preservation Fund” on the memo line. A gifts are tax deductible.
