CrossTrainers

This children's program is held on the third Saturday of every month during the school year at the MP Community Center at 12th & Chicon St.  It is an activity-based program where the children and volunteers can interact while playing games, singing songs, and in small groups after a Bible lesson.

This particular program has a unique purpose, in that the children and volunteers that participate come from different areas of the city.  Mission: Possible! Austin has partnerships with several churches that are ministering in government-funded housing developments in different areas of the city. These different groups and individual mentors bring the children that they work with to CrossTrainers.

This gives the children the opportunity to interact with other children in the city and it gives the volunteers the opportunity to meet other volunteers from other churches who are doing the same thing that they are.  This fulfills another aspect of Mission: Possible’s! mission: Connecting parts of The Body to each other to work together.

CrossTrainers meets every 3rd Saturday during the school year at the MP Community Center from 11am - 12:30 pm. Pizza for Lunch!
