Tim Pinson Sr. – Executive Director / Founder

Tim was born in Brownsville, Texas on January 28th, 1952. Moved to Austin, Texas in 1963. He spent the summer of 1973 as a missionary in Brazil with “Unevangelized Field Missions” while attending Citadel Bible College in Arkansas. Tim holds a Degree in Missions and Christian Education. Tim and his wife Cindy have always been involved ministry outreach. They began their married life as Youth Ministers in a small denominational church here in Austin where Tim also served as an elder for three years. They joined the Grace Covenant Church family in 1981 and started teaching adult Sunday School classes, leading Bible studies, and working with the youth group as worship leader. Tim also served an Interim Youth Minister at Grace under Matt Cassidy. In October of 1991 Tim accepted the call as Director of Youth Ministries with Child Evangelism Fellowship where he served for two years. In 1992 Tim and Cindy founded the ministry Mission: Possible! Austin, Inc.

Beau Hamner – Street Ministry & Community Outreach Coodinator

Beau tries to live by the motto, “If you aren’t giving God everything, you’re not really giving Him anything.” Beau began following Christ at the age of 18. He has served in ministry for several years, on church staffs and as a volunteer. He holds a degree in Christian Ministry and a minor in Youth Ministry from Southern Wesleyan University. While attending SWU, he met the woman that would become his wife. Beau and Gidget were married on October 16, 2004. In April of 2008 they were blessed with a daughter named, Cambria. In the spring of 2009, ministry shifted for Beau. He, along with his wife began sensing a calling to begin ministering to the underserved. After wrestling with God over the matter, he resigned from his current position in Cherryville, NC and moved the city of Charlotte. While in Charlotte, Beau began working with the homeless and young people of the inner city. Still wanting to give God his all, he has left North Carolina to pursue ministry at Mission: Possible! Austin.

Kimberly Ginnings – Project Intercept & Community Outreach Coordinator

Kimberly grew up in Wichita Falls and then graduated from Texas A&M University in May of 2009. She spent a year in Tyler, TX with Pine Cove Christian Camps and then came to Austin to work with Hill Country Bible Church as a part of the Emerging Leader program. She loves children and has worked in the past with many different children’s ministries. She wants to see our programs continue to grow and be effective in reaching the children in East Austin. She is also working alongside programs such as the B.A.G.S. program, the MP Clinic and Hope Street as they continue to foster places where Christ-life transformation can occur. It is her passion to help connect the Body of Christ with ways to serve our city.

 

Billie Robinson – Administrative Assistant

Billie came on staff with Mission: Possible Austin in 2001 as the office manager and secretary. Billie was born in Tell, Texas. She graduated from Austin High School and then spent 20 years in the retail business as a buyer. Following her time in the retail industry, Billie spent the next 14 years as an executive assistant for the Deputy Superintendent of Education. Before coming on board with Mission: Possible! Austin, she worked for 13 years as the Office Director at a local church here in Austin.

Terry Brock – Community Relations Liaison

Terry came on staff with Mission: Possible! Austin in 2003. Terry is building relationships with local pastors and community leaders, he is also Project Leader for the Community Preservation Alliance. He and his wife Valinda have two children and two grandchildren. Following High School graduation, Terry joined the Air Force after which he started a career with IBM. During this time he met and married Valinda. While working at IBM, Terry accepted Christ and was involved in a marriage ministry here in Austin and became involved in mission’s work. Following intensive training he and his wife served for 10 years in Russia, Ukraine, Peru, Haiti and Mexico before joining the Mission: Possible! Austin team.
